Skintimate Mandarin Burst Shave Gel Review! (Thanks to Crowdtap!)

I was selected to receive a full can of Skintimate Mandarin Burst Shave Gel by Crowdtap for free to review with my honest opinion.  I have to say I was super excited to have something to use when i shave because when I don't use anything but water and a razor I usually have dry legs that need lotion after shaving.  Also because I shave in the shower without my glasses on I have a tendency to miss spots, but with Skintimate Mandarin Burst Shave Gel because there is white foam that I can see while shaving I have less chances of missing spots now when I shave.  Now I can get a luxurious feel when I use it, have less chance of missing spots or cutting myself, and have moisturized soft skin.

This Mandarin Burst scent not only has mandarin, but lemon and lime and 6 moisturizers that include Vitamin E and Olive Butter.  I can definitely say I love the citrus scent and it's a great scent that can perk you up in the mornings.  The can also says it has 20% bonus value size, which means I get more for my money.  So, overall I would say that this new scent is a win and makes me feel happy and uplifted and provides me with great #SkintimateHappyLegs.

Dr. Scholl's® For Her Cozy Cushions Review

I got some Dr. Scholl's® For Her Cozy Cushions to test out and to review from Influenster.com in my #RoseVoxBox.  I was more than excited to see these in the box because I just bought new boots that would be perfect for fall/winter that I wanted more cushioning in.  Not only do I get cushioning, but furry heaven for my feet.  The fur would also help me keep my feet warmer which is great because I live in a place that gets plenty of snow!

One thing I do note is that when you cut the cushions to size you may want to do it over a trashcan because the fur at the edges of the cut do tend to come out for a bit and it could be messy if you decided to cut them elsewhere.  Other than that they fit perfectly inside my boots and make me feel like a movie star when I am wearing them because they are so soft and make me feel like I am pampering myself and my feet.

I think the feature I like the most about these Cozy Cushions is that they have a "Multi-layer design insulates against cold and dampness while absorbing perspiration" (as stated on Dr.Scholls.com website).  That means that I can keep my feet warm but dry and happy!  I am also glad to know that they can be hand washed if needed with lukewarm water and soap.  All you have to do is to let it dry overnight!  I can't wait to show them off to more of my friends and tell them about it!  I also know that when these wear out I am totally going out to buy more!  I wish I had a better picture of the boots with the cushions inside but it was too difficult to get a good picture so I chose the picture I took before I placed the cushions inside.  They are now in the boots shown below so I can enjoy them!

I received the RoseVoxBox for free from Influenster.com to review and test out the products!

Dreams... Big Dreams!

Currently I am exploring what to do with my life. There are so many dreams I have worked towards that I have accomplished or decided to change. Sure, not all dreams come true because life takes you in so many directions and I believe dreams can change as time goes on too. Currently I am deciding on whether I am fit to be a future mom and deciding what kind of work I want to do. Sure being a mom is a "full time job" too I understand. But recently immersing myself into the world of social media I have become curious about Blogging, Becoming a Brand Ambassador, and Marketing.

It seems to me that a lot of moms do participate in all three of these things and have built up careers around them. I wonder if I could do the same thing. Of course those are two different decisions that will have to be made individually and then together at the same time. It's just some thoughts that crossed my head and I know I still need to work on this whole blogging thing. I know I haven't committed enough time into it yet but I know I have the potential. To be continued...

In an effort to post more regularly!

In an effort to post more regularly and increase traffic and followers on this blog I am going to write this post and try and be more frequent in my postings. I'm trying to develop where I want this blog to go and what I want to share with my audience. Obviously with the title of the blog being "lets test this out" I want this blog to focus on things I product test or get for free to review. I also want this to be a place where I can experiment and see how my hypotheses work out. I want this to be a place where I write down my thoughts as well as ideas for future blog posts or experiments I want to do. I do want to get into more effective couponing as well and so I am teaching myself the best ways to coupon. Because there are so many other blogs teaching couponing I don't think I will want to post on how to coupon or the best coupon deals to get weekly/daily. There seem to be enough blogs doing these things and so other places to find out these sorts of information. I may share a particularly good shopping trip I have if I have a good shopping trip with good savings, but I don't think I will share on how to coupon. Of course this may change in time or it may just happen in the future, but I want my blog to be a unique place to visit. I may also want to test out being creative in the artistic world with crafts or paint or DIY projects. We will see what kind of inspiration comes my way. I don't know what kind of audience all this will bring, but I do hope to bring and develop a bigger audience for sure and gain followers. I hope that soon I will be able to come up with a better schedule and better ideas to focus the topics on this blog. Any comments and suggestions are always going to be appreciated. I welcome everyone any time!

#TheTaste on ABC

I just got enticed to watch the show "The Taste" on ABC through Influenster.com which really was a perfect way for me to discover a new food show. I usually watch the food network and so I am used to watching food competitions like the TV show "Chopped" or "Cupcake Wars". I think "The Taste" is kind of like those two shows combined or other shows like "Top Chef" or "Master Chef". So far I am intrigued enough to keep watching, but I'm not sure how long my attention will hold on this show. It is interesting that contestants are really judged on one bite or one spoonful of food. "The Taste" also features Anthony Bourdain who is famous for other shows like "No Reservations". It also features Nigella Lawson who is also from The Food Network Channel. I think I still have to watch another couple episodes before I make a final decision on whether I will continue to watch it every week. But for now I am a fan.

Falling in Love with Palmolive All Over Again!

Palmolive (http://bit.ly/VMwX1V) has done it again! Their new #PalmoliveFreshInfusions are totally incredible! I received a free tester package of 3 bottles of #PalmoliveFreshInfusions to test from @Influenster (www.Influenster.com, http://bit.ly/101WrXn) and 4 coupons. I got three different scents: Ginger White Tea, Lime Basil, and Lemon Thyme. I would have to say that Ginger White Tea and Lime Basil are my two favorites. The Lemon Thyme is just as good but just does not suit my tastes. I have been using Palmolive brand dish soap for years and have come to trust the Palmolive name and Palmolive Fresh Infusions does not disappoint. All of these come in 16 Fluid Oz. containers and are concentrated so just a drop of soap goes a long way. It fights grease just as well as the regular Palmolive soap does and is Phosphate free. You can buy these at either Walmart or Target. These scents take you places in your mind because they are so fresh and inspiring. The Lime Basil reminds me of a tropical spa place, totally refreshes you when you are washing dishes. The Ginger White Tea seems to take me to a Zen like place which is so meditative. The Lemon Thyme reminds me of Italy when I was surrounded by the scent of lemons in the Amalfi Coast which was an incredible trip. So I totally recommend at least trying these new Palmolive Fresh Infusions at least once to see what you think and to see if these scents take you somewhere too. I am giving my best friend the Lemon Thyme one to try and tell me what she thinks! These soaps make me fall in love with Palmolive all over again!

Sorry, starting up is hard!

I'm so sorry I've been slow to post, it's hard to start up on blogger. I finally have a twitter connect button and am hoping it works. As for other posts, I have been moving and had no time to settle down into blogging. Hopefully I will be on more frequently soon! I can't wait to figure out what I am going to do on this site and learn how to navigate this better and more efficiently. I have plans for this blog and I hope they aren't too big!! Let me know if something doesn't work or if anyone has tips on learning blogger fast!
